MUSE

Muse is an alternative rock band from England. The band was formed in Devon in1994. Members of the band consists of three persons, namely Matthew Bellamy (singer, guitarist, pianist), Dominic Howard (drums), and Chris Wolstenholme (bassist). Muse has a genre of music that blends rock, progressive rock, classicalmusic, and electronics.The band incorporates a variety of musical genres,including classical flow, modern and even Latin in their songs.
Fame is not achieved easily. In early appearances, many people in the UK music industry considers Muse music is too similar to Radiohead. However, the United Statescompany, Maverick Records to realize Muse appearedseveral times in the United States, before signing them in 1998.

Upon their return from America, Taste Media arranged deals for Muse with various record labels in Europe andAustralia. John Leckie, who became producer of albumsfor Radiohead, Stone Roses, "Weird Al" Yankovic and TheVerve, Muse made ​​the producer's first album, Showbiz.

The launch of this album was followed by the appearance of supporting the band Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers in the United States. In 1999 and 2000 Muse played at major music festivals in Europe, and gigs in Australia, accumulating a considerable fan base in Western Europe.
Origin of Symmetry, Muse's 2nd album, released on 18 June 2001. This album contains music that is heavier and darker, with Wolstenholme bass voice, heavy and distorted.
On the second album, Muse experimented with musical instruments that are not commonly used, such as the church organ, Mellotron and animal bones. More Muse Bellamy wore a high voice, with the strains of guitar arpeggios, and clear-sounding piano, inspired by the Romanticism movement, particularly the Russian musician Sergei Rachmaninov.
After this album, Muse released a soundtrack HULLABALOO on July 1, 2002, a DVD containing their appearance at Le Zenith in Paris in 2001.
In the February issue, 2006, Q magazine placed the album Origin of Symmetry on the order of 74 of the 100 best albums of all time by fans.
3rd Muse album, titled ABSOLUTION released on September 29, 2003. This album is still mixing classical elements with hard-rock style of them on songs like Butterflies and Hurricanes and Ruled by secrecy.ABSOLUTION darker theme - about the end of the world.
With harsh criticism in Britain and a new contract at United, Muse breezed to their first tour at the stadium international. For about a year, Muse visiting Australia, New Zealand, the Americas States, Canada and France.They also released five singles of Time Is Running Out, Hysteria, Sing for Absolution, Stockholm Syndrome, and Butterflies and Hurricanes.
Muse won the award category "Best Live Act" at the BRIT Awards in 2005. On 2 July 2005, Muse participated in the Live 8 concert in Paris, they display the Time Is Running Out and Hysteria.
Muse released their fourth album, BLACK HOLES AND Revelations, July 3, 2006. Different from previous albums, this album displays the type music more diverse, ranging from classical to techno. Along with the launch of the album, Muse jg released their first single, Supermassive Black Hole, which inhabit the direct number 4 in the UK charts.
Muse begin a promotional tour of their album on BBC Radio 1's One Big Weekend. After appearing in several TV programs, they went on tour promoting the album in Europe and North America. During the tour, Muse also released 2 singles again, the Starlight and Knights of Cydonia.
Muse began in 2007 with a tour to Southeast Asia and Australia. Indonesia is one of the countries visited by the Muse on February 23, 2007. Muse Concert held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta and attended by 7000 fans.

Muse is also known for spectacular live concerts, characterized by an energetic gameand amazing visual effects. [1] Muse have released four

Matthew James Bellamy

 (born in Cambridge , England , June 9 1978 , age 32 years) is a vocalist , guitar , harmonium , composer and pianist of the band rock leading from the UK , Muse . He grew up in the city of Teignmouth in Devon in southern England. His father was a guitarist from British music group in 1950 - 1960 , The Tornados, which is the first British group that managed to occupy the top of the charts America before the Beatles , with his album " Telstar ". Her mother, Marilyn, was an immigrant from Ireland .

Matt learned to play guitar 14 years old and was taught by her grandmother.

Matt is able to spell the alphabet in reverse quickly.

Matt can not answer the meaning of the song Plug In Baby at the interview.

Christopher Wolstenholme

(born December 2nd 1978) better known as Chris Wolstenholme, is a musician and the bassist and backing vocalist for the Grammy award-winning rock band Muse. He also sometimes plays keyboard or guitar instead of bass, though the latter is occasionally handled by Morgan Nicholls during live performances.

Wolstenholme has also performed on stage with Irish band Bipolar Empire although he is not a member of the band and just joined them for one performance, to help the band boost their popularity.[1] He lives in Oxshott with his family.

Chris Wolstenholme grew up in the English town of Rotherham before moving to Teignmouth, Devon. While living there, he played drums for a post-punk band, while Matthew Bellamy and Dominic Howard played in another. While the two bands rehearsed in the same building, Bellamy and Howard walked over to Wolstenholme and asked him if he would like to play bass in their band, Rocket Baby Dolls, later renamed Muse. Wolstenholme was eager to join their band but didn't know how to play bass. He picked one up quickly and self-taught himself.

In 2003, when the band sued Nestle, he was the main reason behind it, being against the company that had a dubious reputation when it came to the promotion of powdered milk to new mothers in the third world.[2] At the time, he had had his third child.

Wolstenholme and his wife Kelly married in December 2003 and have five children (Alfie, 11, Ava-Jo, 9, Frankie, 7, Ernie, 2 and Buster, born 4 November 2010).[3] In late April 2010, the family moved to Foxrock, Dublin. He said their decision to move to Ireland was based on their need to be beside a major airport and a desire to avoid London, England. During the 2011 NME awards, it was confirmed that he, along with his family, have moved to London, due to the band's wishes to live in the same city whilst creating the new album. Despite not living in his hometown since his childhood, he remains an avid supporter of Rotherham United F.C., his hometown football team.

The Times magazine published an article in the summer of 2010 in which Wolstenholme admitted he had been a "raging alcoholic"[4] and openly spoke about the depths of his addiction. He went into rehab halfway during the recording of The Resistance. Since then, he has not drunk alcohol. He also had a habit of smoking and would have a few cigarettes daily. In 2010 he switched to smoking out of a pipe. He has stated, via Twitter that he has quit smoking, now using an electric cigarette.

Wolstenholme holds an honorary doctorate of arts from the University of Plymouth[5] and is also a very praised bassist

Dominic Howard

 Dominic James "Dom" Howard (born 7 December 1977)[citation needed], is the drummer for the English rock band Muse.

Howard was born in Stockport, Greater Manchester, in England.[1] When he was around 8 years old he moved with his family to Teignmouth, a small town in Devon. He began playing drums at about the age of 12, when he was inspired by a jazz band performing at school.[citation needed].

Howard's first band was named 'Carnage Mayhem' ,[2] which he was in at school. Meanwhile, he befriended Matt Bellamy, who played guitar but did not have a stable band. Not long after, Bellamy was faced with the chance of entering Howard's band. After two years of drop-outs after Bellamy suggested that they write their own songs, only Howard and Bellamy remained. Chris Wolstenholme, who played drums in "Fixed Penalty", then entered the scene and with a great "spirit of sacrifice" he began to play bass.

In the first months of 1994 Gothic Plague was born, followed by Rocket Baby Dolls and then finally Muse.

In 2004, Howard's father, William Howard, came to watch Muse's performance at Glastonbury Festival. Just after their performance finished, William died from a heart attack. The band then cancelled other shows including an Italy tour and Roskilde Festival. The band released a statement "In this dreadfully difficult time, we request that the privacy of Dom's family and friends is respected".[3][4]

In a session where he and Bellamy answered questions from fans, Howard stated that the celebrity, alive or dead, he'd most like to meet is Jimi Hendrix.[citation needed]

On 26 September 2008, Howard, along with Bellamy and Wolstenholme, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the University of Plymouth.[5]

He has stated on the French programme Taratata that he is living in Nice, France, and is currently single.
